This truly is as nice a gelding as you are going to find. “Whitey” does all aspects of ranch work like a champ. Everything ranging from draggin calves in the branding pen, to roping and doctoring yearlings, loading cattle in the trailer, and sorting pairs. His job is not done there. Any time we have anybody come out to the ranch that wants to ride that does not ride a lot “Whitey” is the horse we use as he will take care of anybody that can halfway sit in the saddle. I have used him multiple of times to move horses and he does not get hot or stupid and you can have him in a wide open dead run chasing them and just pull him up and drop your hand and he will walk on a lose rein even if the horses are still running. He is used to the rough country we have and will go all day and is about as sure footed as it gets. He does have a scar on his neck that you can see in the photos. He has had it now for three years and it is not a problem for him at all and does not effect how he does his job.
