Fall is Here!!!

Just love those crisp mornings on horseback!

With August being a packed full travel month, I started off September at home! The monsoons were still in full swing, and there was cattle work to be done.  While I was at home Amber and Isidro Espinoza stopped by on their way to Fort Worth for the Mustang Makeover.  We had a wonderful time taking a drive down to Ruby (a ghost town just a few miles off of the Mexico border) and enjoyed the breathtaking scenery.   I also enjoyed some time going out to see the colts and seeing how they are growing and turning into “big kids.”

It didn’t last long before I was back in the car and off to Santa Ynez, California.  Had a great time catching up with Michelle Emmerman, another R+F “sister” and finding time to see Linda Acquisto, one of our wonderful Excel Supplements clients.  We did some wine tasting in Santa Ynez and  I also found my way to  J. LOHR Vineyards & Wines in Paso Robles to pick up some more of their fabulous late harvest Riesling.  YUM!  After that, Mucki and I jumped back into the car and headed to Vegas for another top-notch show – the High Roller Reining Classic. While in Vegas, I had the opportunity to catch up and cheer on so many of our wonderful Excel Supplements riders and clients.  Good times and great people!

Rodan + Fields announced their game-changing Radiant Defense Perfecting Liquid that is like a real life selfie filerr, instantly smoothing out imperfections while visibly improving skin tone and texture. Then they rolled out their Instant Makeup Remover Wipes and Complete Eye Makeup Remover. Finally, I have a way to remove waterproof mascara without ripping my lashes out!

By the end of the month, we were in Scottsdale at the Arizona Fall Championships at Westworld. I couldn’t be happier with Lil Man, aka ISayo Docs My Alibi. We ended up Reserve Circuit Champions in the Jr Ranch Riding picking up 7.5 Open AQHA Points and winning the class the last day under all three judges. We also ended up winning the Reserve Circuit Championship in Amateur Ranch Riding out of a large group of really nice horses and adding another 25 Amateur AQHA Points to his record. That along with a Reserve Circuit Championship in Open Performance Halter and a Circuit Championshipin Amateur Performance Halter Circuit Championship makes for a good show!!

Ah, September was good!!

I ended it on a good note by reflecting what I do, how I do it, and where I want to go next. I think I will just leave this here – congratulations to the winner of the  turquoise earrings and R+F Active Hydration Body Replinish!

Welcome to This Cowgirl’s Lifestyle!
