UPDATE: I have decided to keep this mare open and start riding her this year and she has just blown me away. She caught my attention last year with the fact that after my son lost his pony mare who had a one month old foal Haylee decided she needed to raise two foals. I was told that this mare has NOT been ridden since the at least five or six years and how much riding she has before that was in question. I pulled her out of the pasture, threw a saddle on her, but a snaffle in her mouth and this girl rode off like she has never missed a day. They simply do not get much better minded and kind then this mare. So very proud of this girl.
