Rodan + Fields, Excel Supplements & Tradeshows

Can You Believe it is September? The first day of Fall is only twenty-two days away!

So this month, we were at the AQHA Youth World Show in Oklahoma City, the Buckeye Reining Series in Springfield Ohio, and the AQHA Select World Show in Amarillo, Texas.

All the shows brought forth amazing riders and horses! It is always fun to follow up with our Excel Supplements  customers.  It warms my heart to see the added benefits that our Excel products provide them. If you have time, jump over to the Excel Supplements  facebook page and see for yourself!

Spending time with both Samantha Pratt and Chris Westbrook – R+F Consultant & Excel Dealer was incredible and made for a great time at the AQHA Youth World! Just love those two amazing gals! The trip to Ohio was awesome. While in Ohio I got to spend some time at our Excel SupplementsTM  U.S. based headquarters which is located in Cincinnati. I also loved every minute and the people at the Buckeye Reining Series. After a fun weekend there, my trip to Ohio came to an end but not before spending a little time behind my camera at Shawn Flarida Reiners.  It was wonderful to watch the morning workout of two incredibly talented three-year-olds heading to the NRHA Futurity.  Who doesn’t love babies?  Of course, I took some photos of them, and this handsome colt, sired by FOOTWORK REVOLUTION and out of Sheza Great Twister (Heza New Twist) who simply stood out and got my attention.  The trip would not have been complete without catching up with Halley Mendenhall.  Finn was rather excited about the Excel treats that I dropped off with Halley…it doesn’t get any better than that! Love that face, and knowing he is LOVING his goodies!

After getting the booth all set up for the AQHA Select World Show, I found a little time for myself in Amarillo!  The American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum was impressive. So much history and it was fun seeing all the new additions they had made since my last visit to the museum back in 1997.  I even stopped by the “Cadillac Ranch” along Route 66.  Did you know it was a group of art-hippies from San Francisco that built it? Seriously, they called themselves “The Ant Farm”! And it was Stanley Marsh 3, an Amarillo billionaire that assisted in the funding as a silent partner.

I wasn’t home too much this month, but the few days I had, I spent time with my horses and family. The monsoons have just transformed Arivaca to a green bed of lush. The desert flowers are brilliant.  I am so excited to get back home when the prickly pear fruit is ready for harvest! I’m having prickly pear jelly this year, or syrup as my jelly projects have been known to be a bit of a flop! Now to not get a handful of thorns!

And as for Rodan + Fields! It was a great month, talking to so many of you and hearing how you love the product. We have had so many people try our “Glow Packs” and simply fall in love with how amazing their skin feels.  In the next week I will announce the winner of the August drawing! The winner wins a FREE lash boost (which is simply THE BEST) and the gorgeous hand-forged Regina Raichart’s wall décor (Boho Cowgirl). It is 3.5 inches wide and about 6 inches in height from tippy top to very bottom. If you don’t know her work, check her out.

Well, that’s a Wrap!

We are having a September Drawing – so stayed tuned! If you like silver and turquoise…like me…you are going to LOVE what I am giving away!
